Mr. Anand Thatte is Bal Kalyan's pillar of strength. He has served as accountant and administrator for 20 years. Putting aside other lucrative opportunities, he has dedicated his talents to social work. His interests include sports and cooking.
Mrs. Minita Patil is the manager, responsible for operations of the organization. Previously, she was the art teacher at Bal Kalyan. She has also been working here for over two decades. She helped students express their creativity and forget their cares. She found innovative ways to interest disabled children in art. The walls are covered with drawings and paintings done by the students. Most of the children don't have the opportunity to experience the magic of art otherwise. Now she is applying her decades of experience at Bal Kalyan to taking care of the day-to-day operations. Mrs. Minita Patil has completed her Masters in Arts, and a Bachelor of Education. Her interests include painting, sports, and cooking.
Mr. Vilas More teaches painting and sculpture to the children and he also serves as an important role-model because of his own disability Mr. More has a hearing impairment. He has worked at Bal Kalyan for over ten years.
Mr. Abhijit Tambe is a swimming coach at Bal Kalyan. He has helped many children get over their fear of water and experience the joy of swimming. For some of the physically challenged kids, swimming is an important way to get exercise. For more than a decade, Mr. Tambe has worked at Bal Kalyan. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree and has participated in competitive swimming meets. His interests include sports, music and he loves delicious food.
Mr. Sunil Shinde is an attendant to the children. He has taken care of them for over fifteen yars. In his spare time, he enjoys adventure sports.
Ms. Sarika Sawant is also a swimming coach at Bal Kalyan. She joined the team in 2002. She is a state swimming champion. Ms. Sawant loves reading.
